Where a proposal seeks a development outcome that is not currently permitted under the Territory Plan, such as a rezoning of land, a Territory Plan Variation would be required.
Canberra Town Planning can assist with requesting a Territory Plan Variation through the ACT government. If the request is accepted and a scoping document issued, we can commence preparation of a Planning Report with input from expert consultants and undertake required stakeholder engagement.
The completed draft variation can be presented to the ACT government to undergo public consultation and consideration through the ACT legislative assembly.
